Now is the time to take control and really settle down
My life is like a novel each chapter is complete
The pain I felt the love I shared the laughter and defeat
This book at last is over epilogue is so profound
Now I place it on a shelf dust particles abound
A new book in the makings a novel once again
A shaky start but fresh and clean
A New Life To Begin

| Just comes in waves and when those waves come I have to ride them. I'm becoming
a pretty good surfer with "those" waves. And ... you learn to accept for lack
of other choices and you're grateful that GOD shared the Blessings of a lost
loved one with you and you cherish every memory that surfaces as if it were just
a flash away. Your inner self marinates then radiates the love as if an
explosion of a new star being born. Yes ... Comes in waves and you look at the
sky and realize that the blessings GOD shared with you is a "Star" in someone
else's sky now. Yes, waves ... knocked loose of my board as I'm over
come with "those" waves and then I once again surface and move forward, once
again being grateful for the chance to have known and loved. Yes... comes in
waves. |
