have come to the conclusion that you get nothing for nothing and the
more effort you put in the greater the rewards. There is nothing I
love more than writing a blog like this and seeing people leave
comments on it. it can be immensely satisfying, which is why I think
when it comes to Network Marketing that blogs are a great tool and
goes along way to getting that elusive sign up, they also help you
build a good reputation.
I
my time in this business I have come across hundreds even thousands
of websites, blogs and splash pages promising hundreds even thousands
of dollars for very little effort, you know the ones they promise you
a website and you will get thousands of sign ups for 30 mins a day.
These replicated sites just plain don’t work as they have saturated
the net, there are thousands of people out there with these sites
trying to get that elusive sign up.
The
thing is when I started in this business back in mid 2007 I thought I
will be well off and comfortable and working for myself by 2009 using
these sites (how wrong I was), I new nothing back then I had just
joined Yuwie and I had no idea about making cash on-line, so I just
surfed around reading blogs and I eventually came across these sites
promising me a good future, being the person I was I decided to spend
my $40 or so and join up to one of these sites (forget which one, its
the one with a pic of 36 million dollars on it), well naturally
nothing happened, And I became somewhat disheartened and wondering
where to turn next.
Luckily
since then I have gained enough knowledge to know what works and what
does not work with the help of a select few friends on Yuwie, I
started off with something simple and most off all FREE to join, so I
spent my 30 mins a day clicking links on PTC Sites, sure a lot of
those are scams but a few were paying out. So I say to you now,
If you are starting off in this game then start off by keeping things
simple also think of it as a marathon and not a sprint eventually all
your hard work WILL pay off.
I
also had a couple of revelations since that time back in 2007 and the
first on is “You are not a Leader until you have Lost”, Its True
guys, the thing is people love leaders and will follow them to what
ever end. which leads to “Keep things Personal”, traffic
exchanges, spamming links and just plain Advertising (in my opinion)
just don’t work anymore. For me its all about making friends,
building a relationship and helping out on this rocky road of making
money on-line. I received an email of a friend called Rebecca the
other day with the title “Look At This Idiot….He Puked on Me….”,
well this caught my eye and just had to have a look, the rest read
like this -
I met a guy
yesterday who absolutely loved his business. That wasn’t the
problem. Here’s where this gentleman went wrong… The first thing
that came out of his mouth on our initial handshake was, “Hello, my
name is Harry. How would you like to own your own business? I’ve
got this amazing opportunity with this amazing product and the
company is in pre-launch. Get in now and you’ll be set for life!”
Ok. -
Its True this guy is not going to get a sign up at all. what I
believe is Keeping things Personal by making real friends, writing
personal blogs and not ones that are full of banners and freely
offering help to people who want to make it in this business.
