Yuwie on BBC
The BBC has published an article about Yuwie, titled “Should you get paid to Facebook?“

The Yuwie founder, Korry Rogers tells the interviewer that some of the members are netting £200 to £250 a month, that’s about $400 to $500 US dollars. That seems to be inline with the proof of payments I have seen from some of my friends, they make less but also over the $100 mark.

Korry Rogers also explains why Yuwie is not a pyramid scheme, the main reason being the fact that Yuwie doesn’t charge you a single penny! It can’t be a pyramid simple because you are not paying money to someone higher in the hierarchy. The money comes from advertising so it’s more in line with MLM but a free MLM in this case. More than 50% of the adrevenue flows back to the users

One analyst believes Yuwie will not be able to keep the momentum next year, referring to the experiment at Facebook with introducing an unpopular ad system and the criticism of it’s users about this system.

I disagree, Yuwie is a totally different beast, people that join Yuwie know there are ads and why ads are beneficial to them as it makes the them profit. And you are not making a few cents out of your friends as is stated by the analyst but out of advertising and your friends also make a few cents and so on.

Mr Prentice, the analyst then goes on that Yuwie can’t be compared to YouTube as that site is about creation, which ads value for which you can be rewarded.

Hello Mr Prentice, did you check out Yuwie? You can setup clubs with discussion, you can create blogs with valuable content and you can upload pictures, if that is not content creation I don’t know what it is.

Those that join Yuwie just to make money will eventually disappear and the ones enjoying the site
will stay and make money as a result of participating.

Ya, I believe that last info you stated pretty much hits the nail on the head. People that join Yuwie expecting to make big and fast bucks, will quickly leave.

I've read various information from some members here talking about $10,000 per month.....in other words, they try and focus on building their way to ten grand. I think that is sort of a crazy way to look at it.

Enjoy your membership here and all the benefits it affords you with the social aspect. You can gain many more ways than just the earnings Yuwie pays you.

I don't look at trying to build my way up to $10,000 per month as I see that as ridiculous. But for most active members, I see that they can earn a growing extra income here if they wish to do so. Whether its a few extra dollars a month or a few extra hundred a month, at least they share the revenue and that says a whole lot.

Yep I agree with you and Val also. I do like the idea of making money on here but I also really enjoy this site and don't focus on the money. I like the idea of sharing blogs, making new friends, getting comments and commenting on others. I like to look at the different layouts and I just love it here. I know we can make money here but it is so much more than that. That is also what I love about Mylot, the interaction and making friends. I don't see Yuwie going anywhere but I do agree that the ones who expect to get rich here will not stay around too long.

One never knows of course, some of the least expectations a person has may explode and truly make him rich. I really don't like to compare things but it is a true fact that when google started, who would have thought it would be the giant it is today? And those that bought a good deal of shares in google, I can guarantee you are very happy campers.

As I've been saying for quite some time, the free money revolution is here and its going to be here for a long time. I don't think for the most part, people mind viewing ads...we all grow up and thru our entire life time, every where we view ads. You certainly cannot go any where online without seeing ads. People should be allowed to share in the revenue and companies are wising up about that.

I think my biggest month, money wise is 37 cents. The friends I have met here are worth a lot more than though. Ine has really made me look at how I view my reason for being here and has made me to want to really Improve myself.

The money, it will come if it is suppose to, I like meeting new people and making friends.
