Wow. Y Guy is doing great with the New Blog Setups:)
Beaver
Well, what did you think this was about? It's where I live:) Check out my Beaver Experience's:)
So I live in Beaver.
Beaver is a little place in the Rain Forest. This summer I will get a
picture of the Beaver Mascot carved from Old Growth Cedar. Slightly twisted, that's me.
I have a Beaver Pond at the back of my property. I once was chased by a
Beaver in Black Pine Lake while swimming. I can watch my Beaver's. I
can protect my Beaver. I haven't shaved my Beaver (in quite awhile). Original Link: This photo is linked to Mikey77 on Photobucket.
I
Love it here. It has been an exceptionally hard winter. It looks like
more snow this week. Alas, but there are signs of spring. The days are
getting longer. As I was driving to get some java yesterday, I drove
through our little local herd of elk. I went real slow and didn't stir
them up much. They were still there when I came home. The picture is a
little like what I saw. Last year in the Spring they were just outside
my door some days:)
So, how lucky am I? Link to Original Site for Photo.
Last
spring I was walking the 1 1/2 mile to the Rural Highway. I got my
truck fixed and the next time I drove out I had a Black Bear cross the
road and sit and look at me a bit. Was sorta glad I was driving,
although I have came across bears in the woods on foot before. Original Photo Link: Bears.Org
It
is getting close to wake up time for my friends the bears. I also have
bobcat and cougar in my back yard. My back yard is a million acres of
National Forest. Thanks for taking the time to escape a little into my
Beaver adventure with me:)
Well, they say I am going to have
snow, so I better move my truck. Maybe I will be snowed in with the
Elk. I am quite happy being a hermit on my hill at times. I always have
Yuwie as long as the Power Grid holds out.
One last thing I would like to mention. The Original Link to the sites I used photo's from are all posted.
Please to anyone copying anything, it is more than good manners to link the source. It is plagiarism if you don't.
Your home sounds wonderful, well actually, what you can see near your home is what sounds wonderful. I hope one day to be as fortunate as you to be a hermit near the forest. Merry Christmas to you.
I could almost see you when I was sailing along Victoria last Saturday! It's beautiful here and I guess your place is quite something! So nice to look at the mountains, with the snow at the top. Couguars... yes, I would not like to pass by one of them. Great blog Deblea, I enjoyed!
I enjoyed your blog. You are very luky to live where you do. It sounds like a wonderful place. Have you always lived there? I would love to know more about this place where you live. Hopefully I will learn more about it and you as time goes by. Thanks for being my friend.
I thought this was about a beaver and its adventures. It's so much more: nature, beauty, peace and quiet all around, a bit of paradise perhaps. I would love to live there but every so often I would have to go to the nearest town for a few hours of 'hustle bustle' and a bit later return to my peace and quiet. I am glad you are seeing sign of spring, that's always good for the moral.
What beauty. I live on 6 acres of land in the woods of Ga. Only see deer, racoons, rabbits. I come home relax and watch nature takes it place. Summer months I start sawing fallen trees and chopping for firewood for the winter months. Being out in the nature is living in heaven for me. mary
You are so lucky, to be able to live in an environment like that. It must be heaven. I bet you don't get booged down with noisy, inconsiderate neigbours. I'd rather have the bears and beavers.
What a fantastic place to live I'll admit it, I am envious. I lived in the rainforest in far north Queensland for a while before the kids and I really miss being surrounded, steeped really, in Nature.. Now I am stuck in suburbia...
That's cool! I have Jackrabbits, Ground Squirrels, Rattle Snakes (Sidewinders & Mohave Greens), Lizzards, Mountain Quail. But no snow... I live in the High Desert of So. California. No Skeeters though...
Wow! Sounds like a great place to live. Pictures are beautiful. I think I would be scared to see a bear though. We live out in the country too but we only have deer running through our yard.
Sorry I haven't visited in a while but I just got back online after a week without it. Our phone lines were down and I didn't have access. It's good to be back though. :)

Ok this is the 2nd time I'm trying to post this. Maybe it was a sign the first time but here it goes again. hmmm. I looked through your profile and didn't locate anything about being a non meat eater. I live in the city but I just saw some elk a short time ago. It was lunch time actually. The elk was in the form of Italian sausage on my plate. Yummy! Elk is the best meat ever! Good for you too! I would be in heaven there!
ok ... one of these days you'll see me driving up with a small mobile home or camper or RV and I'm parking it right next to yours! ... oh my I'm missing the PNW big time .... got room for me? (big grin) ...
