Changes to Payment Options
We have had a problem recently with counterfeit and forged checks trying to pass through the Yuwie corporate bank accounts.
At the recommendation of our bank, we will not be offering payment by paper check anymore.
Our bank feels this will be the best way to protect our bank account information, and we agree.
We are no longer offering paper checks as a payment option.
All payments will be handled electronically through Paypal or alertpay.
If you have chosen to be paid by check, you will need to change your payment information.
If you do not change your payment information by October 31, 2008 you will not receive a payment on November 1, 2008
If you do not have a paypal or alertpay account sign up.
Paypal and alertpay is 100% free, and this will help us keep counterfeit and forged checks from compromising our bank accounts.
Also, Paypal will not take any fees out of the payments you receive from Yuwie.
If Paypal or alertpay is not available in your country, please contact our support team and suggest another payment processor.
Some of you have suggested Moneybookers in the past, but Moneybookers is no longer accepting members from the US, so they are not an option.
We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, but going forward, this is going to be the best way for us to protect our bank accounts, and protect the future of Yuwie.
All existing checks sent to members will still be honored.
