What's up people, my name is Thomas (most of my family and friends call me Tom-Tom or Tom). My display name is my nickname (since birth) and my football number from high school and college. The reasons why I created a Yuwie profile are to build a strong network and accelerate my business venture(s), and to share part of my testimony of the things that God delivered me from so that people who have similar issues will know that God can deliver them as well. I'm nowhere near where I want to be in any area of my life, but I'M NOT WHERE I USED TO BE EITHER. Looking back on it, I'm grateful AND just as amazed as others about the situations that God has brought me through. Here is a list of a few things that I was delivered from: the mistake I made of going in the Army (for the wrong reasons), being homeless for the better part of 2 years (even slept in my car a couple days), working 16 jobs in 5 years (13 within the first 3 of those 5 years), being written off and given up on by family, having to grow up early. I didn't have a normal childhood, as a matter of fact, it was about as rough as it could be. As bad as it was for me, it most definately could have been worse.
None of these things killed me, they only made me STRONGER and let me know that I'm MORE THAN A CONQUERER, and let me know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE (Romans 8:28).
I want to point out that my attitude accepts nothing less than abundance. I can feel abundance coming to me and my territory being enlarged. I make it a priority to surround myself with the right people to attract abundance into my life. I only deal with abundant concepts, mentalities, and attitudes. Because I have a sensitive spirit, I steer clear of negativity and negative people.
First, here are the people who I DO NOT care to deal with: 1. People who have self-defeating attitudes who don't believe they have the power to create the reality and live the life that they want.
2. People who bring other people down, and suck all the energy from others just because they know they can do it. (My personality and sensitive spirit makes me a big target for people like that, so I really have to watch my back.) People can be like crabs in a bucket: If you put one crab in a bucket, he'll get out. If you put 8 or 10 crabs in a bucket, if one crab tries to climb out of the bucket, the other crabs will grab and pull him back down so he can share the same fate as the rest of them (Matthew 20:13-15, Acts 5:4).
3. Anyone who does not have the desire to change and grow as a person and does not have a lot of love in their heart. I'm at a point in my life where I can't afford to surround myself with any other type of energy but positive.
4. Whiners, complainers, or people who want to be normal. Successful people ARE NOT normal.
THESE are the people who I look to line myself up with: 1. VISIONARIES, and anyone that has a strong enough passion for what they do or what they want to do, and are willing to pay the price and do whatever it takes to accomplish it.
2. People with emotional stability, that don't get rattled by every storm that comes at them, and will FIGHT their way out of bad situations. You can pray all you want to and ask God to fix your situation, but it has to be fixed through YOU. Once you ask Him to fix it, you have to do your part, everything that you have control over and take steps toward fixing it.
3. People who actually get IT, and people who actually want IT.
4. People who are trying to go to the next level in all phases of life and are not satisfied with their current situation, and DON'T CARE what they have to do or what price they have to pay to get it, as long as it's LEGAL, MORAL, and ETHICAL.

Music:
Mostly r&b and some rap. No matter what kind of music it is (with maybe the exception of country and bluegrass), I can find something that I like. I mostly listen to music from the 80's and 90's because that's what I grew up on. The older stuff actually has messages in it, unlike most of the newer music. I like some of the recent stuff too, but I'm selective about it.
