CLOUDWATCHER	Today has been dark and dismal, so unusual for sunny Queensland. My office has four large windows and plenty of light but I have needed to use lights today for the first time in memory. It has rained almost non stop. We need the rain, so I am thankful, but I also find it slightly depressing. I am hoping it will be clear tomorrow, for that is when we are driving about 90 minutes south to visit a good yuwie friend for the first time. Barb and I have been trying to meet up for ages, but I havenâ€™t been able to slot it into the calendar. While I am the driver and rain doesnâ€™t bother me, my husband doesnâ€™t like travelling in the rain, so Iâ€™m hoping for a fine day. I know meeting Barb & Paul will be wonderful, but it would be nice to have some sunshine as well. I hope you had a happy Easter and that the coming week will be full of sunshine for you. Take care.

CLOUDWATCHER	The rogue weather continues. The bushfires to our south are out, (but the trauma continues) They are still mopping up after the floods to our north and west. Now, a category 5 cyclone has been travelling down the coast with winds of 180kph. Thousands of people have been evacuated from islands and low lying coastal areas. If it crosses the coast it is expected to cause much devastation. The latest alert is that Cyclone Hamish is expected to be off the coast of Bundaberg (where I live) tomorrow. As we all know, cyclones are unpredictable and anything could happen, but precautions must be taken. Previous cyclones heading for Bundaberg have been tipped off course by the tip of Fraser Island, and we can hope and pray that Hamish will be diverted out to sea. â—„ The trouble with weather forecasting is that it's right too often for us to ignore it and wrong too often for us to rely on it â—„ Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine Happy yu
