"There isn’t much better in this life than finding a way to spend a few hours in conversation with people you respect and love. You have to carve this time out of your life because you aren’t really living without it."
..
I have met interesting people from all walks of life... from astronauts (see my blog) to anthropologists and actors to inventors and presidents ...and my favorite~ family and friends.... I love to find out how other people think and live...
..Have I met you yet?..
Just sending out a quick comment to everyone...havent done that in a while....i still have no internet at home so I wont be around much but i wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and all of the kind messages I have recieved. Have a great day all!!
I love art, photography, music, gardening, calligraphy (art of beautiful handwriting), sewing, sports (volleyball, softball swimming)...and I've picked up a book or two recently, and I'm enjoying a good read these days
I love keeping in touch with friends, old and new.
Simple pleasures..
a good cup of coffee & conversation,
sunsets, fragrance of flowers or rain on the breeze, thunderstorms,
fresh cut grass; good friends, belly laughs, helping each other out...
Putting things back in my life
that got dropped out for whatever reason...
Putting the joy back in...
And possibly sharing my life with a man some day, whose heart is in the right place...(if I don't misplace my own)

Heroes/Idols:
My heroes are everyday people making a difference. Those who really spearhead a change in society for the better, or are good examples of how to live your convictions. Along those lines you may not know the names of the everyday heros....unless they impact your life personally. I am lucky enough to have quite a few heroes in my life.
I greatly admire Princess Diana; she broke a lot of barriers and a lot of tabu's in her charity work. Holding babies with AIDS, bringing attention to the dangers of land mines, showing compassion to all she met. She was a great lady.
