Welcome to me, but before you request me as your friend:
Please dont bother if you just want me to sign up to some money making scheme, just not into that.
Please don't bother if you intend on making no contact at all, I am here to make friends not to gather huge number of friends.
That's all, hope you all understand.
Cheers
If I had a 100 years with you, it would never have been long enough. I will treasure and cherish those wonderful 28 years we shared together.
I see you everyday in our beautiful children and you will always be in my heart. Until we meet again. I will love you always.....
hey hey Deanna, how goes it? thought you might need time to get over the finals, should be all ready to start counting the days till 2010 kickoff by now. We may have shot ourselves in the foot, Fev had his chances, but could set us back another year finding a new structure. He was very lucky not to be sacked in the past, guess we move on. Good thing is, we get to keep Cam Cloke, think he will be playing his best in the next 3 years, late bloomer like his dad. Hope you still loving the nonna role, and you're keeping out of this heatwave...t/c.

Hello proud grandmother :) Nice to get your message. Spring coming around the corner there? Here is now full summer. At least...after all rains it's there. Enjoy your day lovely friend.
It seems my comment to friends yesterday shows as an html error, so I am repeating it today.
Good morning. It is a beautiful winter (?) morning here in sunny Queensland, which is living up to its motto: “Beautiful one day, perfect the next.”
Winter officially has another two weeks here, but apart from a couple of days when I wore a light cardy, we could be mistaken for thinking it was spring. I guess that means we are in for a steamy summer.
Whatever your weather, I hope you are enjoying your week and ready for a relaxing / achieving / challenging / fun / or whatever you’ve planned weekend. Make sure that you do at least one thing for yourself this weekend. You deserve to be pampered, even if you have to do it yourself.
A thought for the week: When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. So live your life that when you die, you are the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
Good morning friends. Although I have popped in most days to respond to friends’ comments, messages, blogs etc I have not been able to send comments for some time. I have been working on a new project, not difficult but time consuming and demanding of full concentration. It is progressing well so I’m taking a break to greet my friends. I’ve missed the daily “chat” but I see many others have also been absent for some time.
We are in the last month of winter, but we have only had two days cold enough to wear more than a light cardy. I hope that doesn’t mean we’ll have a hotter than usual summer! If so, I might decide to migrate south!
My thought for the day is from Albert Einstein: Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.
My wish for the day: The discovery of a new ability and the joy of success - especially if after initial failure.
I have tried overseas friends a few times, without response. I guess if they don't see it, it just disappears when they leave. I don't know how these things work. I haven't received any messages yet - apart from an on-going conversation.
It is another lovely day today. I don't know what has happened to winter. Apart from a couple of days last month, we haven't had any cold weather.
Are you over your cold now? and once again enjoying being Nonna?
It works! I've just been chatting to Karin in Belgium. My sound is on, but I didn't hear any signals when the messages came through. It was a little slow, but better than sending messages. I wonder if it works when someone is offline? I'll send you one to check it out.
Thanks Deanna. I'll give it a try when I find someone on line, but there is seldom anyone on line when I am. I am usually only here for a few minutes at a time anyway.
I had a look at the IM but I'm completely non-techno. I couldn't figure it out. It showed two friends on line, but I wasn't able to type anything, so how does it work?

"A little ray of sunshine has come into our world..." 48 years old Female Melbourne, Australia
I live in in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, an absolute awesome city.
We are known for our fine restaurants, our large sporting venues, our nightlife, and our diverse culture.
We can boast fine art galleries, aussie rules football, our famous cricketers, the Melbourne Cup (horse racing) and of course our weather. Melbourne is known for having 4 seasons in one day! Lol! For the past year and more, we have been in a drought with tough water. restrictions in place. We need rain and plenty of it..
I think Melbourne was rated as one of the top 3 liveable cities in the world. If you ever come downunder, don't pass this fine city by, it's well worth the look.
UPDATE; FEB 09
We have had devestating bushfires here in Victoria, not far from where I live, over 200 people dead, many still missing, many homes and habitat destroyed. So many of our wildlife perished.
The rain did come, the weather did get cooler and we did see an end to the fires for now. We need it to rain, please rain and replenish the earth. Anyone know any good rain dances out there??
UPDATE: 29th June 2009.. My first granddaughter Dorina Deanna came into our world. What a true blessing....
